This 5 week intensive group for women, consists of 8 teaching classes and 1 celebration dinner to help with your hurts, hang-ups, habits, recovery and road to wholeness.
We’ve all been hurt by other people, we’ve hurt ourselves, and we’ve hurt others. And as a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up, or habit. But the question we all face is, Where do we go from here?
Life’s Healing Choices is a program and class that offers freedom from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits through eight healing choices that promise true happiness and life transformation. Using the Beatitudes of Jesus as a foundation, this class will help you recover and offer practical, encouraging biblical teaching.
Hear real stories of men and women whose lives have been transformed by living out the eight choices in this group. Through making each of these choices, you too will find God’s pathway to wholeness, growth, spiritual maturity, happiness, and healing. You’ll find real answers, real hope, and a real future — one healing choice at a time.
9 group lessons. Each 1 hour 30 minute class includes :
- Short video lesson, Life's Healing Choices DVD (25 minutes)
- Each of the 8 segments on the DVD match the 8 lessons in our study guide
- Introduction to the eight choices that will change your life
- Happy Family Training™
- Introduction to the Happy Kid Toolkit™
- Discover your defense strategy, role and movement around the Unhappy Kid Triangle™
- Discussion / Prayer / Q&A focused on each of the eight DVD segments
- Looking Ahead/Catching Up: We will open each class with an opportunity for everyone to welcome one another and report how she is doing with the weekly assignments.
- Key Verse: Each week we will find a key verse of Scripture passage to read together. Discovery Questions: Each DVD segment is complemented by questions for group discussion.
- Prayer Direction: At the end of each session we will come together to pray. Praying together is one of the greatest privileges group life.
- Diving Deeper: The material in this group study is designed to compliment the book, Life's Healing Choices, by John Baker and Rick Warren. Each week, we will be directed to read from the book for greater understanding of the topic.
- End of group celebration
- Potluck dinner to celebrate the completion of our book study
